Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival 2019 (Extra Credit Opportunity)

Mill Valley Youth Advisory Committee
The City of Mill Valley is looking for 6th – 12th graders to serve on the newly formed Youth Advisory Committee. The City of Mill Valley Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is an advisory body to the City Council and other city departments, whose objective is to promote the youth voice in local government. The goals of the YAC are:
1. Review issues relating to programs and services for children and youth
2. Identify/recommend priorities among programs and services for children/youth.
3. Create a forum for discussion with children, youth and their families.
4. Make recommendations for programs, policies and necessary legislation to promote the health and well-being of children, youth and their families.
