Are you creative? Do you like to write poetry, short story, drama, songs, comedy or anything else when you get a chance? The New Tam “Creative Writing Club” (formerly the “Poetry Club”) will hold its second official meeting next week on Wednesday, September 25th in Wood Hall 151. Tam Girls Basketball! Informational Meeting Thursday September 19th, at lunchtime (11:20) in the P.E. Classroom (near Boys locker room entrance). For all players interested in signing up for the Freshman, JV, and Varsity basketball teams. Come to find out about tryouts and signup for girls basketball. The meeting will only be for 20 minutes however it is important as we are trying to determine if we will have enough players for a Freshman, JV, and Varsity team this year.

The City of Mill Valley is looking for 6th – 12th graders to serve on the newly formed Youth Advisory Committee. The City of Mill Valley Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is an advisory body to the City Council and other city departments, whose objective is to promote the youth voice in local government. The goals of the YAC are:
1. Review issues relating to programs and services for children and youth
2. Identify/recommend priorities among programs and services for children/youth.
3. Create a forum for discussion with children, youth and their families.
4. Make recommendations for programs, policies and necessary legislation to promote the health and well-being of children, youth and their families.
